🍺 About O'Hara's Freebird

O'Hara's Freebird White IPA from the Carlow Brewing Company is one of the few Irish stouts available in bottle-condition format. This part of the brewing process gives the stout a distinctly lively, fresh character that generally isn't found in its pasteuized, filtered rivals. Roasted coffee dominates the drink's aroma and it also contains underlying hints of burnt toffee. O'Hara's has a light body, feeling smooth and dry on the palate with bitter flavours of roasted barley, espresso coffee, and hints of chocolate, backed up by the citrussy bitterness of hops, leading to a smooth, bitter malt finish. The Carlow Brewing Company is a recent arrival to the brewing market, but has established a solid reputation for producing high-quality drinks. O'Hara's aims to be a genuine alternative to the big three of Guinness, Beamish, and Murphy's.
